The Hopemongers is a social justice bluegrass band formed by Penny Stone and Ryan O’Riordan.
We run singing workshops and hootenannys with one word at the core… Hope!
We are just in the process of organising some workshops for 2027, details to follow soon. You can see upcoming events (including Hopemongers Workshops and Hootenannys) here.
If you would like to join The Hopemongers email list, send a message to hopemongersband@gmail.com. You can find some wee snippets of us singing together here.
The last Hopemongers’ workshop of 2026 will be in Sheffield on October 24th – still some tickets available here.
And we’ll be supporting the Free Radicals on the evening of Saturday 24th Oct as well.
