Postscript, May 2019: This weekend was truly awesome. Thanks to all who contributed their hearts and voices, I had a FANTASTIC time! Highlights include singing whilst swinging an axe, a trombone on the funky version of solidarity forever, and all the multitudes of singing along… I went home at the end of Sunday and watched Pete Seeger ‘Power of Song’ documentary to wind down before bed. Amazingly this documentary is on youtube, so you all can enjoy it too!
To celebrate what would have been Pete Seeger’s 100th birthday, I am hosting a 200 song singathon across two days. Ten hours per day, 100 songs per day. It’s going to be awesome. Most of the songs are join-in-able songs. Bring your voice, bring an instrument, come for some or all of it. It’s a free event, with donations going to support a music project in Palestine.
